The Washington Diversity and Veterans Entrepreneurial Leadership Class 2018 is an entrepreneurial leadership program aimed at recruiting, developing and supporting leaders who have a commitment to civic engagement, to learning, to enhancing their entrepreneur leadership skills, to collaborate in support Washington communities economic development growth. It is a six-month program.
To assist the Selection Committee in giving all applicants the fairest consideration, complete this application as accurately and as completely as possible.
There is a session in English and another in Spanish.
The Selection Committee is looking for applicants who:
Have a demonstrated concern for their community through active involvement.
Have a record of achievement in community/civic/professional activities indicating the past and future leadership activity and ability.
Have a commitment to Washington and demonstrate their desire to remain in the region.
Possess high standards of personal quality and integrity.
Can and will commit the time required for the program.
Washington Diversity and Veterans Leadership Program is a graduate-level program, therefore, candidates should demonstrate completion of a similar leadership program; or demonstrate comparable public service experience, or demonstrate comparable work leadership experience.

If admitted to the class, the $800 tuition in full is due by April 30, 2018. Checks should be made payable to the WDVF. Limited scholarships may be available. Entrepreneurial Leadership Class starts on May 26, 2018. The Spanish Entrepreneurial Leadership Class starts on May 19, 2018.

A resume may be attached to enhance the application, but not to serve in lieu of.
Three recommendations are required.

WDVF' Entrepreneurial Leadership Program must receive your application forms no later than 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2018, and three recommendations by April 24, 2018.
Late applications will not be considered. NO exceptions. Do not enclose tuition payment with your application. The LEADERSHIP Class 2017 participants will be announced on April 26, 2018.
